1. Get a Facial, Waxing Services, or Massage

We all would love to relax and enjoy a day at the spa, getting a much-needed massage to relieve stress or getting a facial to remove any blackhead and clear out our pores. However, our "5 Things Not to Do on Your Wedding Day: A Guide for Brides" is to get any kind of spa treatments that may affect you on your wedding day. For instance, getting that pesky mustache waxed on your wedding day may not be such a good idea because it may cause inflammation. This is not something you would want to show up on your wedding photos.

We also don't recommend getting a facial. It may sound like a good idea because you want your skin to be as radiant as possible, but a facial can sometimes cause more harm than good. An example of this would be an allergic reaction to products that are used by the aesthetician.

A good massage always takes away that anxiety and stress of planning your wedding. However, we wouldn't recommend getting your favorite deep tissue or shiatsu massage on your wedding day because it can leave you feeling achy. If you want to relax before your wedding, opt for a more calming massage such as an aromatherapy massage.

2. Wear Your Wedding Shoes For The First Time

One of the worst things that can happen on your wedding day is being unable to bear walking in those fabulous shoes you spent so much time finding. This is also on our "5 Things Not to Do on Your Wedding Day: A Guide for Brides". We recommend wearing your wedding shoes around the house before your wedding day. Doing so allows you to break them in before you walk down the aisle.

3. Skip Meals

Most brides are so anxious or nervous that they forget to eat. Skipping meals could cause you to feel dizzy or light-headed. You would not want this on your wedding day. Be sure to eat a light breakfast or protein bar on your wedding day to prevent this from happening.

4. Write Your Vows

Also, in our "5 Things Not to Do on Your Wedding Day: A Guide for Brides", is writing your vows. Your wedding day is not the time to try to figure out what you're going to say to your future husband. We recommend that you write your wedding vows well in advance so that you are prepared when the big day comes.

5. Stress About the Weather

One thing that you are unable to control in life is the weather so don't stress over it. If you planned for an outdoor wedding, trust that your wedding planner has already made plans with the venue about "plan B" if it were to rain. Don't spend time worrying about something that is beyond your control.
