1. Give Your Pinterest Board a Rest

First on our list of 5 Tips for Preventing Bridal Burnout is to give your Pinterest board a rest. After browsing hundreds or maybe even thousands of photos and ideas on Pinterest, it wouldn't hurt to take some time away from your Pinterest account. We understand that in the early stages of the wedding planning process you are excited and create all sorts of boards for just about everything. We suggest you figure out what colors and vision you want for your wedding and pin only those types of photos. Schedule a day and time to devote to your Pinterest board so that it doesn't consume all of your time.

2. Give the Family Pet More Attention

When planning a wedding we tend to forget about everything and everyone else. However, if you want to keep some sort of normalcy in your life, another one of our 5 Tips for Preventing Bridal Burnout is giving the family pet more attention. Enjoy a stroll on the beach or visit the dog park with your furry family member to relieve some stress and take a break from wedding planning.

3. Keep It Moving

What better way to relieve stress than to exercise? That's why it's on our list of 5 Tips for Preventing Bridal Burnout. Exercise helps to keep your mind off all those little details that keep you up at night concerning your wedding. It's also a great way to lose those extra pounds or inches you've been wanting to shred so that you can fit into that wedding gown.

4. Ask Your Fiance' To Do More

There is a reason you chose that special someone to spend the rest of your life with. Part of that is because they have your back and you can depend on them. Ask your fiance' to be more active when it comes to handling the details of your wedding. You can even assign specific tasks for them to do. Besides, it's their wedding too.

5. Get Some Rest

The last thing you're probably thinking about is counting sheep. However, we recommend allowing yourself time to get some rest to avoid bridal burnout. Whatever tasks are keeping you up at night trust me they will be there in the morning. Drink some hot tea, take a bubble bath, light some candles, and allow yourself time to unwind. You'll be catching some z's before you know it.
