8 Ways You Can Include Your Sibling in Your Wedding - Photographer: Onsite Photography LLC
1. Include Them in Your Wedding Party
The first thing on our list of 8 Ways You Can Include Your Siblings in Your Wedding is to include them in your wedding party. Some of us have siblings that are actually our best friends. If you have an extremely close bond with one of your siblings, what better way to include them on your wedding day than to have them stand up for you and be a part of the wedding party.
2. Include Something Personal of Theirs
Not everyone can be a part of the wedding party or want to be for that matter. For those siblings who are not a part of the wedding party, you can make sure to include them by wearing a pair of earrings from your sister or your brother's tie as something blue. This helps them feel special that you thought about them on your wedding day.
3. Ask Them to Host Your Bridal Shower
Also, on our list of 8 Ways You Can Include Your Siblings in Your Wedding, is by asking them to host your bridal shower. What better way to get your sister involved than to make her in charge of your bridal shower. Your sister will probably know you the best when it comes to your style and things you may or may not like.
4. Ask Them to Usher
Another way to include your siblings is to ask them to be an usher. This is always helpful for large weddings. Your sibling would be happy to assist your guests with finding their seats or pointing out where the little boy's room is. It gives them a sense of purpose and makes them feel included on your wedding day.
5. Ask Them to Read
If you have a favorite scripture, prayer, or poem, it would be nice to have your brother or sister read it at your wedding ceremony. This helps your sibling to feel special and a part of your wedding.
6. Include Them in Your Dress Shopping
Who wouldn't love an opportunity to go shopping with the bride-to-be? Your sister would love to be included with you and your girlfriends when it's time to "say yes to the dress". Even if she's not a part of the bridal party, she gets a chance to spend time with you sipping champagne at a bridal boutique and creating amazing memories.
7. Ask Them to Sing
If you have a sibling that was blessed with the gift of singing, why not bring them in to sing at your wedding ceremony or reception. We love this idea that's why we included it on our 8 Ways You Can Include Your Siblings in Your Wedding.
8. Let Them Help You Get Ready
This would be such an honor for your sibling on your wedding day. The mere fact that you asked them to be there with you helping you get ready, making sure you stay calm, and assisting with helping to make sure your day runs smoothly, is something they would be more than happy to do.
